What can you tell me about Synchrony?
Synchrony Bank is a financial institution that most people work with when making payments on their store credit cards. However, they also offer loans and lines of credit to a large collection of businesses and industry types that range as far as from aeronautics to mom and pop shops. The bank is a rebranding of the organization GE Capital Retail Bank, but the only thing that really changed with the change is a new logo and name. You can read about the change by clicking here. All of the services offered by GE Capital are now available through Synchrony.
What does paperless billing mean?
Simply put, paperless billing is what it is called when a customer decides that he or she no long wants to receive their billing statements through the mail. Normally, they will then receive the bills that they have signed up for paperless billing for through their email accounts.
While not everyone signs up for this kind of service, it seems to be becoming more popular with accountholders as time goes on. For some, it is a great way to minimize their impact on the environment while handling all of their financial transactions over the internet. Others merely appreciate the convenience of not having to open and discard more mail as their various bills get delivered. I would personally recommend paperless billing for everyone, unless you do not keep up with your emails or you need a physical reminder that your payments need to get submitted in a timely manner.
An important note on paperless billing: If you do decide to sign up for this, make sure the email address associated with your account is accurate. After that, double check it.

On pretty much every page through the Synchrony website, you will find the login box at the top of the screen. Even here on the offers page. In that box, you will see a link that says “Register” – click it. I have it circled in purple for the image above. Go through the registration process to create your online login.
